Born in Figueres (Girona), Salvador Dalí was famous for being very eccentric and gave a new perspective to surrealism to become the most famous artist of his genre worldwide.

This route runs through the province of Girona and the Costa Brava from three unique places: the Dalí Museum Theatre (Figueres), one of the most popular museums in Catalonia; the Museum-House in Portlligat (Cadaqués), a small fisherman’s house where the artist lived and painted for years, and Gala Dalí castle in Póbul (La Pera), a medieval castle that Dalí gave to Gala, his wife and muse.
